LORI MAXWELL — LEAD VOCALS, KEYS
Lori Maxwell is a professional vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter whose style blends rock, country, and funk. Known for her distinctive vocal tone and commanding stage presence, she began singing and harmonizing with her father at just three years old. Her musical influences span from the powerhouse rock vocals of Ann Wilson (Heart) and the edge of Lenny Kravitz to the dynamic funk energy of Bruno Mars.

Lori holds a degree in Recording Arts and, along with her husband Jim Maxwell, co-owns CFZ Studios. Together, they are also co-owners and majority investors in a newly established vinyl pressing plant based in Smyrna, Tennessee.

PAUL HURT — GUITAR, BACKING VOCALS
Paul Hurt is a seasoned guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and recording artist with more than 40 years of live and studio experience throughout Northern California. A versatile and accomplished player, Paul delivers tight, driving rhythm guitar and expressive lead work, seamlessly spanning rock, R&B, funk, blues, and country. His broad range of influences and deep musical roots allow him to adapt to a wide variety of styles while maintaining a signature tone and feel.

Known for his soulful delivery, dynamic musicianship, and high-energy stage presence, Paul has performed on festival stages as well as in clubs and venues across California and Nevada. He has opened for nationally recognized acts including Pablo Cruise and Great White, as well as AC/DC tribute band AC/D She, and has shared the stage with numerous respected San Francisco Bay Area artists. Paul has also performed with notable groups such as Oh So Blue and The Citations, among others.

In addition to his live work, Paul is an active recording artist with original music available on Spotify and iTunes.

BRAD SPRAGUE — BASS, BACKING VOCALS, KEYS & HORNS
Brad Sprague is a versatile and accomplished musician known for his exceptional bass playing, strong supporting vocals, and multi-instrumental talent on keys and a variety of wind instruments. As a bassist, Brad combines precision, groove, and musicality, drawing inspiration from legendary players such as Jack Bruce, Geddy Lee, Tommy Shannon, Willie Dixon, and Donald “Duck” Dunn. His ability to lock in with the rhythm section while adding depth and texture to each performance makes him a key element of the band’s sound.

Brad has performed on festival stages and in clubs and venues throughout California and Nevada, bringing a polished, energetic presence to every show. He has opened for nationally recognized acts including Pablo Cruise and Great White, as well as AC/DC tribute band AC/D She, and has shared the stage with numerous respected San Francisco Bay Area artists. In addition, Brad has performed with groups such as Oh So Blue, The Citations, and others, further showcasing his range and professionalism as a live performer.

JIM MAXWELL — DRUMS, BACKING VOCALS
Jim Maxwell is a seasoned drummer and performer with a lifelong passion for music, having started playing drums at the age of five. Known for his power, precision, and musical versatility, Jim brings a dynamic foundation to every performance—supporting the band with tight grooves, tasteful fills, and strong rhythmic leadership.

Over the course of his career, Jim has performed with several well-known bands, including Valor (featured in the YouTube video “Didn’t I”). His musical tastes span an exceptionally wide range—from the timeless songwriting of The Beatles to the progressive intensity of Mahavishnu Orchestra and the driving energy of Judas Priest—giving him a broad musical vocabulary and adaptability across styles.

Jim’s drumming has been shaped by legendary influences such as Buddy Rich, Billy Cobham, and Neil Peart, and his playing reflects both technical skill and deep musicality. In addition to his work on stage and in the studio, Jim is an active member of the San Francisco Chapter of the Recording Academy and a voting member of the GRAMMY Awards.

NORMA BLACK — LEAD VOCALS, BACKING VOCALS
Norma Black is a vocalist, songwriter, and with decades of live performance experience and a passion for storytelling through music. She began singing and writing songs at the age of 16, performing in local venues throughout Oregon before relocating to California in the early 1980s, where she has continued to gig and build her reputation as a dynamic and engaging performer.

With a strong stage presence and a natural ability to connect with audiences, Norma brings both lead and harmony vocals to the band’s sound, adding depth, character, and versatility. In addition to her work with the band, she is actively developing her original music, with an upcoming EP release in the works.

Beyond music, Norma is also a published children’s author of Luna and the Apple Orchard, a creative project that includes an original video and soundtrack available on YouTube and is currently sold through Amazon.
